HOW WERE YOUR EMOTIONS HANDLED AS A CHILD?
When I was a kid, lots of care was taken in the development of my mind and my body. But, as in many well-meaning, loving families, my emotions weren’t really “seen” or valued. When I grew up and became really curious about my inner world, I was overwhelmed to find so much discomfort — sadness, anger, fear, rage — living inside me.
PART II, THE CONFRONTATION
As I became deliberate about confronting and FEELING my emotions, they began to integrate and lift, and I experienced radical change. I began to feel grounded, worthy, and plain ol’ joyful–an inner experience I’d always hoped was possible.
BACK TO CHILDHOOD
Kids are born with an innate sense of joy, worthiness, and wholeness. As parents, we can protect and preserve this. We can guide them to expand EMOTIONALLY.
NO ANIMALS! (ONLY FEELINGS) KID’S BOOK
My new book begins with the fundamentals, helping you teach your kids to name their emotions — because ‘naming’ is where emotional growth begins. I use the bold work of many of today’s leading artists because they’re captivating for kids, and act as portals for the potent emotions they channel.
